Founding partner, Thomas Rapp, has nearly three decades of experience in the field, building a clientele on his willingness to go far beyond the normal advisor relationship, turning most of his clients into good friends.

Tom started his career with Prudential in 1987 and then Nationwide, capitalizing on the breadth of his exposure to build his own insurance and investment business serving a niche of affluent individuals. Greenberg & Rapp was created on the idea that the client and their needs matter most with an emphasis on meticulous, personalized service.  

To support his expertise in all areas and deliver the best solutions to meet the objectives of his clients, Tom has an established network of contacts throughout the financial services industry. He has further distinguished himself by earning his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) , Accredited Estate Planners (AEP®), and Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®) designations. Through his affiliations and memberships Tom has his finger on the pulse of market insights and developments, maintaining his presence as a recognized leader and nationally sought-after speaker in these specialized areas.

Tom is active in many local civic and charitable organizations. He and wife Lisa are the proud parents of four sons and live in Mendham, New Jersey.

Ronald J. Greenberg, CLU, AEP®
Founding Partner

As a founding partner of Greenberg and Rapp Financial Group, Inc., Ronald Greenberg has devoted his practice to working with closely-held business owners and affluent individuals, and has developed one of the leading national firms dedicated to helping clients grow, manage and protect their wealth.

Ron began his career in financial services in 1988.  He first qualified for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table in 1991 and has been a Top of the Table level advisor for the past 15 years.  Ron holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Accredited Estate Planners (AEP®) designations and is past president of the North Jersey Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.  He is also a member of the Tri-County and Northern NJ Estate Planning Councils.  He has spoken extensively on the topics of preserving family wealth and exit planning strategies for business owners.

In his community, Ron is a founding board member of Liam’s Room, whose mission is to create home-like hospital rooms for children with life threatening illnesses.  Ron is also a board member for Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey.

Ron, an avid golfer, lives in Westfield, New Jersey with his wife Debbie and their two children.
