Felicia Garland, JD, CFP®
Felicia Garland is a former practicing attorney and Certified Financial Planning ™ professional who has chosen to focus on helping blended families tackle their unique financial needs. As a result of her own personal experience, she understands the dynamic of couples that are planning or have already remarried. In the excitement of their “I Do Over,” and with the stress of merging their lives and those of their children, couples frequently fail to consider the ongoing financial and legacy planning needs that can result from a second marriage.
By crafting a financial roadmap that incorporates the dreams and aspirations of the new family, executing appropriate financial strategies, and providing ongoing education and communication, Felicia works with her clients to alleviate a lot of the stress and anxiety that naturally follow when two families merge. By worrying less about their financial health, they are free to spend more time building new family memories.
In the past Felicia sat on the Board of CASA of Morris & Sussex Counties. She is also a volunteer with Junior Achievement of New Jersey, which provides financial literacy education to school-age children.
Felicia is originally from Portland, Oregon, and received her bachelor of arts in history and political science from The Robert C. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon. She received her juris doctor degree from The Georgetown University Law Center. In her free time she enjoys travel, cooking, golf and spending time with family and friends.
