Marc Dougherty began his career in the financial services industry with EisnerAmper Wealth Management in Bridgewater, NJ, shortly after obtaining a Business and Finance degree from the University of Richmond in 2009. While working as an analyst for EisnerAmper he completed the first two levels of the CFA Charter Exam, and ultimately transferred to a sales position at Lord Abbett & Co investment management company. From 2013-2015 Marc took a brief hiatus from his career in the financial industry to volunteer around the world, including teaching English in Spain and working for a non-profit called College Forward in Houston, mentoring high school students for college admittance. After relocating back to NJ he joined the team at Greenberg & Rapp in 2016 to begin building his independent financial planning practice where his goal is to offer support to individuals, families and business owners so that they can focus their time and energy on the things they love to do and the people they care about most.
Marc currently resides in Montclair, NJ and is involved in the community’s local music and art scene, the YMCA, ski and hiking groups and a Spanish speaking meetup group. His other interests include playing basketball, weight training, traveling, creative writing and playing and performing music with friends at local open mic nights.
